Cinnamon bark is a warm and stimulating essential oil. It has been traded by Indians, Chinese and Egyptians for at least 4000 years.
Effect on mind: Helpful for mental fatigue, depression and listlessness. Stimulates and refreshes the mind and eases tension.
Effect on body: Powerful antiseptic. Warms the body and may resist contagious diseases. Eases intestinal infections and calms spasms of the digestive tract. Stimulates gastric juice secretion, thus helpful in conditions such as dyspepsia, colitis, flatulence, diarrhea, nausea and vomiting. Tonic for the circulatory system and eases muscular spasm and painful rheumatic joints.
Effect on skin: Mild astringent that slightly tightens loose tissues. It may clear warts
