EVO Liquid Candle Dye – Brown

Our highly concentrated EVO liquid  candle dyes are 50% stronger than standard liquid dyes and are formulated with ECO-friendly ingredients. They offer excellent colour consistency and strength for crisp, clean and bright candles.

EVO dyes have a pleasant, mild scent and compatible with most waxes including paraffin, soy, palm, gels and blended waxes. They do not contain hazardous solvents or additives such as naphtha or naphthalene. Flash point of this colouring is over 95°C.

EVO dyes disperse well, leaving no dark spots of colour. Colours do not separate in storage, so only a minimal shaking is required to be ready to use. High viscosity reduces splashing and spilling, and makes dye easier to handle.

Recommended Usage: 0.02%

To achieve a light pastel shade you only need 1-2 drops per 100 grams of wax

EVO dyes are never tested on animals and NO EVO INGREDIENTS are on the California Prop 65 list of cancer causing ingredients.

Candle dyes are NOT skin safe.

PLEASE NOTE – Our EVO Brown dye is very thick and may need to be warmed slightly in order to make it easier to use.

Usage Guide

To calculate how much dye to use take the recommended usage rate and multiply by the amount of wax you’re using.

For example –

If you are making a large Libbey Status Jar candle and the Recommended usage rate = 0.07%.

300 x 0.07 = 0.21ml candle dye

The are approximately 20 drops per ml so you would need 4 drops in this example for a vibrant colour
